Beekeeping is not rocket science, but there is a learning curve. Set yourself up for success by getting the education you need.

Gregg McMahan’s beekeeping classes will teach you everything you will need to know as a first-year beekeeper. These are comprehensive classes designed to teach you everything you need to know to succeed in your first year!

Topics covered include:
  • Predators
  • Pests and diseases
  • Starting your colony (installing you bees)
  • How to do a hive inspection
  • Honey Harvest
  • Getting ready for winter
  • This class is in session from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The virtual classroom will open at 5:30, and the class starts promptly at 6:00 pm. If you are new to Zoom, please show up early to verify that your software is installed correctly and that you can see and hear the instructor.
