B402 Certan is the best way to protect stored frames from wax moth damage. It is a concentrated solution of the bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt). This particular strain of Bt affects wax moth larvae but is entirely harmless to both honey bees and people and leaves no residue. When used correctly, it can provide 100% efficacy against wax moth larvae.

Mix and apply the Bt using a spray bottle to frames and allow them to dry, then store in sealed containers to prevent reinfestation.
