These in-hive feeders were our favorite when had just a few hives in our back yard.  They hold a gallon of syrup or water. Up to four can be placed in a 10-frame hive for rapid feeding or increasing the time between visits. The width of the feeder is small enough that almost no bees drown in them.

To use the feeder, place it on top of your inner cover and then place either one empty deep or two empty mediums around them, then place your top cover on top.
